Bangalore Locations – 2011 Updates

A list of shops making or selling unpainted clay idols of Ganapati,  or idols painted with colors obtained from natural dyes. This list has entries obtained by Youth For Seva volunteers, and other concerned NGOs, individuals. There is no sort of guarantee involved with respect to the nature of the paints used for the painted idols. Another reason, for you to just buy unpainted Ganapati idols.

    Location in Whitefield for eco-friendly Ganeshas: “Spandana” BEML Layout Resident’s Welfare Association along with TMAD is organizing a sale of Clay Ganeshas in the Brookefield area.

    The location of the sale is at BEML Layout Entrance near Reliance Fresh/Lakme Beauty Parlour. The vendor will bring clay idols of various sizes and set up his stall on Aug31 (Weds) morning

    If you reside in the Brookefields/Varthur road area, please support buying clay idols to prevent pollution caused POP/painted idols.

    Do take advantage of this sale and avoid the hassle of having to go to HAL market
